Do you want a free trip to the Niagara Falls? Just pass under any of the city flyover after a downpour and we bet you will not be disappointed. While on one side the government is busy promoting their rainwater harvesting schemes, on the other hand precious rainwater just pours down the outlet pipes on the flyovers on motorists, giving them a shower they will never forget. Instead of wasting so much water, hasn't the government thought of some way to channelise it to be used at least to water the plants and little gardens under the flyovers? Motorists fume as they have no choice but to be victims of the gushing water, especially during traffic jams and say that it can lead to accidents if the victim loses balance. So those in the government who are in the rainwater-harvesting department, please practice what you preach.
