Reel Talk: 'Chirutha' Runs to Full House At LKT

Not just in the regular commercial centers, actor Ram Charan Teja has been able to get a full house at the Lalitha Kala Thoranam (LKT) where his debut film 'Chirutha' was screened as part of the Hyderabad International Film Festival.

Most of the audience was heard appreciating Charan's performance as an actor and he has been successful in coming out of the image of Megastar Chiranjeevi's son and establishes himself as an independent star.

The recent 100 day celebration of the film was held at Vizag which was a successful event.

Snippet: Change of Title for Teja's Flick

Dynamic director Teja who has taken the onus of launching the son of big budget movie maker M S Raju has now changed the title of the film.

The new name for the film is 'Vastaadu Naa Raju' replacing 'Nuvve Naa Hero…Andi O Ammayi', while the official announcement is yet to be made, this looks like the sure one. The film will mark the launch of Sumanth Ashwin into filmdom and the search for the correct heroine is still on.

It is true that that the title 'Nuvve Naa Hero' caught the attention of many. But the straight reason for changing the title is not known. In fact, the title 'Vastaadu Naa Raju' is also an old one conceived by Teja.

Bubbly Raasi Lost Rs 50 Lkah and Acting Again

Raasi, the actress, lost a whopping Rs 50 lakh investing on a movie 'Maharajasri' that evaporated within days of release. Raasi invested such big sum believing in the talent of her husband SS Nivas.

But things didn't go according to her wishes. The film flopped and Raasi is now bankrupted. She is now getting ready to do any kind of role that suits her body. Raasi had put on lot of weight and now looking obese. She is planning to earn big before she loses scope to act completely. Hence she is trying to recharge her old friends in the industry by making phone calls and visiting in person to find new roles in movies. Had she been with that old voluptuous figure, things would have been different. But now as she turned obese, film makers are also thinking twice to consider her.

Above all, she is no way ready to act for free. Her expectations are big being a former heroine. So we have to see when she earns the figure she is expecting.

Top Tollywood celebrities are now pushing this flag through Hyderabad Film Festivals and we may soon see this as a unique flag for entire Film Fraternity.

Gopalakrishna says: "'Red' stands for production. 'Red' symbolizes dynamism and production requires the same. 'Yellow' stands for friendship and distributors prove successful only with friendly terms between the producers and exhibitors. 'Blue' stands for purity and bliss and that is the epitome of 'exhibition'. And the 'Film Reel In A Spool' at the center stands as a symbol for entire 24 frames of film making".

Reel Buzz: Two Hot Ladies With Rajni Kanth

With the news that the mega project 'Robot' is on, the entire media is abuzz with activity and it is heard that the makers are looking at roping in not one but two heroines for the film and the most likely choices would be the Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone and our very own South Indian hottie Nayantara.

While the official announcements are yet to be made, this pair looks quite likely to be alongside superstar Rajnikanth who will be the hero of the film. Will have to see how Shankar brings up this brainchild story of his.

Cheap Tricks To Earn Money Using Chiranjeevi

Posani's cheap tricks are already seen. He has chosen the way to throw cold water on Dasari and push his film 'Apadamokkulavadu' using the power of Chiranjeevi fans. He is indirectly seeking the help of Chiranjeevi fans to pump in oxygen for this flick. He said that he made the film supporting Chiranjeevi's entry into politics and thus thrown a clue for Mega Star's fans to look at his film.

Earlier he cashed 'Operation Duryodhana' by making controversy with respect to Telangana issue. But that was not intentional from his side. The issue broke down with the agitation of Telangana Rashtra Vidyarthi Praishad. As that 'operation' turned successful with that controversy now Posani intended to do controversy by coming on to media against Dasari.

It is indeed true that Dasari objected the release of the film but Posani is using that at right time by coming on to media. Let us see how far Posani cashes with these tricks. Can Posani use Chiru fans for this!

"Posani Krishna Murali is a sadist. He is dangerous in all the ways than being helpful. It's dangerous with him. Chiranjeevi would go to dogs if he encourages making films supporting him. He thinks he supports but that stands out to be venom. This is the worst movie I have ever seen. There is no reference of Chiranjeevi's political entry at all. Two guys chat while reading News Paper and there is a single dialogue in favor of Chiranjeevi in that scene. That's all. Posani is over acting for Chiranjeevi's mileage", says an audience coming out from the theatre.

Buzz: Chiru's Will be a Family Party!

Mega star Chiranjeevi's proposed political party will be nothing more than a "dynastic rule" like that of the Telugu Desam and the Congress. There will be no democratic procedures in the film actor's political party as and when it is announced. To begin with, Chiranjeevi's political party will be led by 1) the film actor himself, 2) his younger brothers, 3) his son and above all 4) his brother-on-law. Since all these five people are from the film industry, they all will participate in the election campaign and in public meetings to popularize the new political party, in case it is formed at all.

The top five positions in Chiranjeevi's party will be occupied by himself, his brothers, his son and his brother-in-law. So anyone who wants to occupy an important position in the new political party will have to be contented with positions down No. 5. If Chiranjeevi wants to keep his son away from politics for the time being, then the outsider, who will be the luckiest one, will have to accept the position No. 5.

And this is precisely the reason why Chiranjeevi is not getting the backing he needed from his own caste leaders or from seasoned politicians. They do not want to play second fiddle (in fact it is the fifth fiddle) to Chiranjeevi. Unless Chiranjeevi announces that he will keep his family away from the new political party, in case he chooses to announce one, there will be no political future for the film star's outfit.

People are already fed up with family rule in the Congress and the Telugu Desam. The TRS leadership is also treading the path of the Congress and KCR has brought his son to succeed him.

Film Rumors: Shriya's Dating With Jesse Metcalfe!

Shriya is really going great guns. After the success of Sivaji, starring opposite Jesse Metcalfe in The Other End Of The Line is quite a leap for her acting career.

But that's not the story. Apparently, the two are not only shooting for the film but bonding extremely well off-screen too.

If sources are to be believed, the couple has been frequently spotted at night clubs and restaurants. Only a few days back, Shriya was stranded at Frankfurt Airport after her flight was cancelled. Metcalfe, who was also in Germany at that time, went to the Frankfurt Airport to meet her and give her company.

More recently, they were spotted together during the New Year's Eve in Goa. A source close to Shriya reveals, "Metcalfe is totally smitten by Shriya. He finds excuses to meet her. Shriya has realised his liking for her."

Shriya clearly loves all the attention. She also accompanies Jesse to various places in the city as he is a newcomer. Another source from the sets of The Other End Of The Line says, "They are extremely fond of each other and are always together on the sets. They are more than just good friends." Shriya remained unavailable for comment.

A light hearted romantic comedy, The Other End Of The Line is being shot in Mumbai, San Francisco and New York and will release later this year. While Shriya Saran, Tara Sharma and Anupam Kher are some of the notable names Jesse is in the company of Larry Miller ( Kiss Kiss Bang Bang ) and Sara Foster ( The Big Bounce ).

Is Censor Board Sleeping for 'Aapada Mokkulavadu'?

The controversial Posani Krishna Murali's film ' Aapada Mokkulavadu' has released and has caused a terrible experience to the audience. While the film is one bit, the main blame seems to be pointing towards the censor board for letting some of the most vulgar and intolerable screens pass through their certification.

"The hero cutting off the villain's private organ and throwing it in cold storage or the villain taking the heart out of a man using a drilling rod are some such scenes which makes one think how they could imagine the audience would have the heart to watch", says a lady who watched the film as a serendipity.

"Censor board must be sleeping or it might have bribed", said the other after watching the movie.

While films are meant to be more on the entertaining side with decency, it is rather shameful to see something like this happening. Hope the Censor wakes up to this and does something about it.

Though this time she is back in the news for the wrong reasons. She had come to a multiplex to take part in the ongoing Hyderabad International Film Festival.

Unfortunately things took a rough turn when she got into an altercation with of one of the media photographers who was taking a few snaps of her. However the matter was resolved soon, with the photographer getting back his camera. Bitter side to sweet success, wouldn't you say!

Lawrence made a statement just before the release of 'Don' answering to a question in a very bold manner. When asked if there is any resemblance between Bollywood 'Don' and Nag's 'Don' he said, "There is no resemblance at all. And all Bollywood producers would make line to get the remake rights of this 'Don'".

That is cinematic to listen. But has that statement come true? We all know that. The film has been suffering loss although the producer ML Kumar Choudary tried to pump oxygen into it. Lawrence kept a silent face now and jumping to Tamilnadu to do a Tamil film. Yes, he is pairing up with hot throb Tamil actress Namitha. She has been called the sex bomb shell of South India. The title of the film is 'Paandi'. There is also another top heroine Sneha in it.

We are yet to be informed if he is trying a hand for music for that film as well. So, it takes time for Lawrence to come back from his home till the completion of his part in that film.
