Screen Talk: 'Prince' in Goa for New Year
The star recently went to Malaysia for the shooting of an ad and took a holiday for a while with his family and now he is all set to reach Goa to celebrate his New Year. Accompanying him again will be his wife Namrata and son Gautam along with the other family members. The Goa holiday is scheduled for a week and once the vacation is over, the 'Prince' will get back to finalizing on his next project.

Rumors: Rajendra Prasad's Ego Becoming Problematic!
Comedy hero, Rajendra Prasad, is not willing to act in those films, where Brahmanandam is on the cast. He developed strife with him and hence not willing to act with him. The reason is nothing but ego. He was hero for quite long time and Brahmanandam was only a comedian who earned more than him. Both of them had a tiff long back and Rajendra Prasad is not moving close with him since then.
Rajendra Prasad has a problem with Allari Naresh too. When these two appeared together in 'Ma Alludu Very Guddu', many producers thought that was the most successful combination. Some approached them with good scripts also. As their relation is bad, those producers had to withdraw. Ego and eccentricity go with Rajendra Prasad.

The heroine of the year is Shriya. She made big news by becoming a choice of the most expensive film of India made in this year.
That is 'Sivaji' or Rajni Kanth and after analyzing many ifs and buts Shankar, the director of the film has chosen Shriya to be his heroine beside Rajni. That boosted up the image of Shriya to rocket heights and she bagged series of offers from top banners in Tamil. She acted beside Vijay in 'Azhagiya Tamil Magan' and also paired with Vikram for 'Kandasamy' (to be released in Telugu as 'Mallanna'). Apart from this she made a big news by dancing with Vadi Velu, the Tamil comedian for a film 'Indralogathil Naa Azhagappan'. Tamil tabloids wrote about her saying that she agreed to do with him by taking a pay check of Rs 50 lakhs. But Shriya condemned it saying that Vadivelu is a worthy artiste and it is privilege working with him. That way, Shriya made everything a big news this year.
She also turned a hot cake on Telugu screen as well. She played a cameo in the Venkatesh starrer 'Tulasi' and also appeared in an item song in 'Munna'.
She also bagged a role in Bollywood flick 'Awarapan' but that didn't do well at the box office. The other film that is yet to be released is 'Ek-The Power of One' with Bobby Deol. Apart from all this, Shriya bagged a wonderful Hollywood offer as well. She is acting in the film 'The Other End of the Line' that is going to be made by James Dodson and she will be pairing up with Jessie Metcalfe. 'Mission Istanbul' is another big budget film in which Shriya is acting by pairing up with Vivek Oberoi.
On a whole the year 2007 is a memorable year for Shriya for many unique things happened in her career.

Comedian AVS developed contempt against his counterpart Brahmanandam, ever since the latter's name found its entry in Gunnies Book of World Records.
'Had I made a count of the roles I played, I too would have find place in the Gunnies Book' AVS boasted in the company of his friends, of late. He claims that he is not only an actor; he is a director and a writer too. He says he will certainly find his entry in Limca Book of Records.

Spotlight: Famous Cine Wonder Of 2007
The film 'Sivaji' unleashed a famous wonder this year. Rajni Kanth, the dark looking south Indian star was shown bright like a European in that film. There were several gossips on that aspect. Some said Rajni had undergone chemical peeling treatment to look fairer for that song. Some others said that was the magic of make up artistes. But the fact is that it was only a graphics job done in Chennai. The details are not furnished by many. Here is the complete information.
If you have watched Sivaji, you would have observed the fair complexion of Rajinikanth in the song 'Ok Bandi Sunlight'.
For the first time grafting technology has been used for an Indian film which was made possible by a Chennai based company Indian Arts who had worked in Shankar's earlier films. One of the dancers, Jacky, was chosen by Shankar and Rajini's skin tone was matched with hers. The six and a half minute song was shot in Spain.
Each shot of Rajni's in the song was once again shot with Jacky and was sent to Indian Arts. Since the lighting varies in indoor and outdoor, to match the skin tone, expressions, and lip and body movements of the two was a challenging task. A total of 6700 frames were been for post production. Rajinikanth himself was amazed after watching the song.
Is that not a wonder on Indian screen that was done for the first time?
'Hyderabad Film Festivals' from 3-10 January
Hyderabad is going to be the host for International Film Festivals between 3rd and 10 th Jan 2008. 150 films from 35 countries are going to be screened in this film festival. The films are going to be screened on all the screens of Prasad's Multiplex, Amaravathi theatre and Lalitha Kolathoranam.
The films are classified into 15 categories. It is also said that there will be competition for short and documentary films to encourage the new generation. The film festivals are going to be held by Hyderabad Film Club in association with Telugu Film Directors Association. Paruchuri Brothers, CC Reddy, C Kalyan, Sagar and many are taking various responsibilities to make this festival a grand success.
The general public is also invited to watch the films and procure entertainment and education.

Mumaith's Exposing in Telugu 'Basic Instinct'?
