Who is Dasari Padma? How she is known to public? Yes, as the wife of legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao. But how she is linked with Tamil film industry? Some say that she worked a lot for the welfare of film labor. But her name wasn’t sounded any time in that angle.
But she is given a chair beside legends like AVM Saravanan and K Balachander in the three-member committee. The committee looks after the modus operandi of the construction of cinema theaters, facilities and the measures to be taken for the welfare of cine labor.
Everything is fine. But what is Dasari Padma’s stature to be one among those legends of Tamil Cinema? When enquired it was said that Dasari Narayana Rao was asked to be in this committee he negated but asked his wife to sit in his chair.
