Rumors: Chiru goes into hiding

Megastar Chiranjeevi and his wife have gone into hiding. Not because he is disturbed very much over his daughter Srija's marriage with a middle class fellow Sirish Bharadwaj, but because of the people who are calling on him day in and day out to express their sympthies for him.

Eversince the marriage of Srija took place, Chiranjeevi's residence is being flooded with friends, well-wishers, relatives and even his fans, who are expressing their sympthies and solidarity with him. Already, Chiru was in a state of shock given by his daughter; and this wave of sympathy has put him in the most embarassing situation. The visitors include even Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu, while Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy called him up on phone and expressed his sympathy.

Adding to his embarassment, his brother Pawan Kalyan enacted a big drama by surrendering his weapon to the police and announced establishment of a Commonman Protection Fund, creating an impression that it was a prelude to Chiranjeevi's plans for establishing a political party. Unable to withstand pressure from all angles, Chiru is learnt to have gone into a hiding to have mental peace at least for some time.

It's Chiranjeevi's Followers Those Leaked

It is said that the followers of Chiranjeevi leaked the information that Shirish has criminal background of kidnapping a minor girl in 2002. At that time he was just 16. Sources said that they have brought the police case issue to Allu Aravind without letting that known to media in hurry. It's only left to Allu Aravind to decide whether to leak the criminal background of Shirish to public or not. Allu Aravind asked to call the media and let them known. Only then media came to know about this and they started probing into it. Now there is no public sympathy for Shirish.

The only way left for him is to send back the girl, if she realizes that she betrayed herself and her parents. If the girl still likes him, then he has to leave the state. But the sources say that he had already left the state along with Srija on Thursday after staying in Amberpet on Wednesday in friend's place.

Orkutters condemn Chiru’s new son-in-law

It seems like a genuine case of the real world spilling over onto the wired world. The Orkut scrapbook belonging to G. Sirish Bharadwaj, who recently got married to Chiranjeevi’s younger daughter Sreeja is now overflowing with hate messages posted by angry Orkut members, a majority of them being fans of Chiranjeevi. Orkutters are having a field day at the expense of G Sirish Bharadwaj, whose scrapbook bears a tagline “Name Says It All”. Sirish’s scrapbook is now filled with hate messages from Chiru’s fans and people in general. Most of the messages are unprintable and highly abusive from Orkutters who believe that Sreeja is cheated.

In fact, the forum has now turned into a no-holds barred profanity-spewing contest in which both parties are actively involved in slandering each other. Apart from this, there are also Orkutters who have begun creating fake profiles just for the purpose of flaming the message boards. One of them has also attempted to impersonate Sirish by creating a fake profile of his. Reads one of the anti-Sirish messages on the scrapbook, “You fool, how do you think you are going to support her? You don’t even have a job.” In fact, groups supporting Chiranjeevi are teaming up with each other to collectively spam the scrapbooks of individual supporters of Sirish.

There are also those who believe that the youngsters have taken an irresponsible and immature decision by not informing the parents of their marriage. According to the comment posted by an Orkutter, “You should have waited and got settled professionally in life before embarking upon marriage.” In fact many users posted common threads that highlight the very young age of the couple and how they are “so unprepared for what life has in store for them”. A user said, “A week in the real world without the parents will be all it takes to make them realise the enormity of the impulsive action they have taken and get them both back to their respective parents.”

While the majority of the messages on Sirish’s scrapbook are of a condemning nature, there are also a few that are not so. Some young Orkutters have commended Sirish for what they call a ‘gutsy move taken by a youngster who was aware of his responsibilities’. In fact, an elderly gentleman, who also happens to be an Orkutter says, “Parents should not come in the way of the children deciding what they want to do with their lives. Upto a certain age, we can play the part of the guardian, but after a certain age, we are only facilitators of some needs that they have. If the couple has the courage to take on life, let them do so.”

* Hari says, “Chiranjeevi will commit suicide after this.”

* Says Mr. Srinivas, “Come and touch the feet of Chiranjeevi. He is a nice person, He will understand and forgive you.

* A user named Pure Heart says “Sreeja you made a mistake. You both proved that you don’t have any respect for your parents.”

* Even Sirish has posted a comment saying, “Thanks for your blessings. Please don’t harass my family and friends. You will understand what I did only if you love somebody. I didn’t even know that Sreeja was Chiranjeevi’s daughter for the first six months after I met her.”

Chiru's party plans off due to family troubles?

The megastar, Chiranjeevi, is unlikely to plunge into politics in the next 18 months i.e till the next Assembly elections following some bad developments in the family. The public image of the film star has taken a beating because of the marriage of his second daughter with a local youth, who is already involved in some criminal cases.

First, the film actor had trouble with his elder daughter. Even before the dust could settle down, there was the Pavan Kalyan episode which caused much embarassment to the film actor. And now the trouble with his second daughter.

Since the image of the actor had taken a beating, it is unlikely that he will set up any political party or jump into politics. This simply means there will be no entry of the actor at least till the 2014 Assembly elections.

"We are getting scolding from our family members now for making friendship with Srija. My grandmother reprimanded me for choosing such a girl as friend", said another girl in anguish of seeing her friend doing such disgraceful thing with a kidnapper having criminal background.

"We think she would come back to her family knowing about the darker side of Sirish Bharadwaj. He was an eve teaser, kidnapper and also had some criminal background at this very young age", said another girl.

"We were with mixed feelings till we came to know that Bharadwaj is a criminal. But now we only pray that Srija should be rescued from him and relieved", said the other girl.

Till late in the night, the hero’s family was waiting for Srija, 18, the youngest child, to return home, but there was no sign of the newly-wed couple.

A shell-shocked Chiranjeevi remained incommunicado and was reportedly not at his Jubilee Hills house. According to sources, he was watching the events unfold on news channels all through the day. Late in the evening, he sent his emissary, brother-in-law and producer Allu Aravind, to speak to the media.

“Chiranjeevi is in a state of shock. He is not in a state of mind to speak to his fans. He gave her (Srija) all the freedom. He was like her friend, we don’t know who led her astray,” Aravind said.

The drama unfolded at around 10 am when Srija, dressed casually in jeans, went out of the house for a walk and on the way wanted to meet her aunt. She left in a friend’s vehicle. An hour and half later, Srija surfaced at Arya Samaj mandir, New Bowenpally. Her lover Shirish Bharadwaj (21) was already there. The couple, both majors, exchanged garlands and took marriage vows as per Arya Samaj tradition at around 11.30 am in the presence of friends.

Soon after the marriage, the couple asked for help from police and the media as they feared for their lives. Speaking to the media, Srija alleged her family members forced her to discontinue the relationship from the time they came to know of it. “As soon as my parents came to know of my affair with Shirish, they forced me to discontinue studies. I was virtually confined to home,” Srija, who was a student of St Francis College, said.

The couple said, she was in a state of ‘house arrest’ after she turned 18 on November 9 last. Shirish Bharadwaj is reportedly an engineering student of MGIT, Gandipet. Their love story began some four years ago when they were still minors at Jubilee Club. The two nurtured the relationship over the years till the girl’s family came to know of it. In a interview to a news channel recently, Bharadwaj reportedly alleged that Chiranjeevi and his fans were threatening him.

The couple said they were waiting for the right time to get married since they wanted to stay together. Sources said, Srija probably feared her love story would meet the same fate as her sister Sushmita’s. Srija’s elder sister was engaged to upcoming hero Uday Kiran, but a few months later the wedding was called off citing “incompatibilty” between the couple. Gadde Veerabrahmam Forecasted Chiranjeevi

Had anyone bothered about Ravi Teja when he acted in the group behind Rajasekhar? But he became a bigger star than Rajasekhar in eventual years. Had anyone expected 'Raasi' would become a heroine when she was shown in 'Rao Garillu' as child artiste? But she shined on screen for sometime.

Similarly we all know that no one bothered about Chiranjeevi and none expected something big awaiting him when he acted in Pranam Khareedu and Punadi Rallu. But there was a man with intuition in Guntur district with the name Gadde Veerabrahmam who used to tell something that certainly goes to happen. He said, "There was a man in the group acted for 'Manavoori Pandavulu'. I asked some one and he said his name is Chiranjeevi. His eyes are very sharp. Behind The Scene: Why did Chiru go on backfoot?

Those who have been eagerly waiting for Megastar Chiranjeevi to announce his new party are now thoroughly disappointed with the news that he has developed cold feet, at least for the time being.

Why did Chiru go on the backfoot? Reliable sources say Chiranjeevi had held series of deliberations with his well-wishers and community leaders on the modalities of launching the party. He thought it is the right time to launch the party, as he would have at least 18 months to establish himself in the State politics and turn the wave towards him. This time would also give him a scope to establish a third alternative by polarising all the anti-Congress and anti-Telugu Desam forces.

However, with the sudden formation of mid-term poll clouds has upset all his plans. If the mid-term elections to Lok Sabha are held in a couple of months from now, Chiranjeevi will have little time to emerge as an alternative force, as it is difficult to consolidate his base among the voters. At the same time, he cannot remain aloof from the contest in the mid-term elections, as it would send a wrong signal to the voters. Moreover, both the Congress and the Telugu Desam have already announced all the populist schemes possible on the earth to lure voters and Chiru would have to think something really innovative to divert the voters towards his new party.

Keeping all this in mind, Chiru deferred his plans to launch the party. He wants to wait and see the outcome of the mid-term polls to Lok Sabha, reassess the strength of the main parties, work out the possibilities of a third alternative and then take a decision, sources say.

Why politicians are averse to Chiranjeevi?

Many people are awaiting the entry of film actor Chiranjeevi into politics. But a few group of people are against his entry. And who are they? None other than our politicians. According to sources, politicians of all political parties do not want Chiranjeevi to enter politics. And many of them do not want to join the Chiranjeevi's party, in case he forms one. The reasons are obvious.

If Chiranjeevi enters into political arena, the political career of many of our politicians, irrespective of their party affiliations, will come to an end. He will take fresh faces into the party and give them tickets, like NTR did when he floated the Telugu Desam in 1982-83.

Secondly, the politicians do not want to join Chiranjeevi even if he invites them for the simple reason that Chiranjeevi will call the shots and they will be reduced to just puppets. And which politician want to take orders from a film star?

The songs will also become promotion tools if Chiranjeevi wishes to set up a political party.

Chiranjeevi Cannot Be Compared With NTR

I Venkata Rao is the senior journalist who said that Chirajeevi should not be compared with NTR.

He said, "There should be a very perfect and clear motive for entering into politics. NTR had very perfect motive those days. He had very deep insight into various problems in society. Chiranjeevi cannot be compared with NTR now. People should know if he has proper insight on the aspects of burning issues like Telangana problem, Nuclear Deal and possibility of preparing an agenda that sounds better than that of TDP's and Congress'. Only then there will be any sense. Why Chiranjeevi is wishing to enter politics? Is that only because he has cine glamour? If he is planning to enter seeing that if the atmosphere is right to become CM, he will be a failure. If he has clear motive to serve people through politics irrespective of he becoming CM or not, only then the things will make sense".

So we have to see what Chiranjeevi will do and what his people make him do.

Chiranjeevi gives breather for Cong, TD

The "October 2 deadline" has passed and there's no news of film actor Chiranjeevi announcing a new political party in the near future. Though this is not something good news for lakhs of his followers and those belonging to his social group, the ruling Congress and the main Opposition Telugu Desam are a happy lot. The TRS too has taken a breather. But the baron of a media group, who has been thinking of a third alternative force in the State with the film actor in the lead, is also said to be unhappy over the "continued prolonged" delay by Chiranjeevi in announcing his own political party.

According to sources, the film actor is right now not keen on forming a new political party. He wants to study the political situation and then come out with his future plans. Moreover Chiranjeevi has still much of his film career left and if he jumps into politics, he has to leave the film industry once and for all. The film actor is weighing all the pros and cons before coming to a conclusion.

The Congress and the TD are happy over the delay. A delay of a few more months means that there will be no Chiranjeevi political party for the next Assembly polls. With hardly 18 months left for the next polls, the film actor has to announce the party now or wait for yet another poll due for 2014. But it will be too late. The new political party has to settle down and it needs at least one year. It took nine years for NTR to drive his nascent Telugu Desam to victory in 1982-83. If Chiranjeevi does not come out with the announcement before February 2008, it means that there will be a direct fight between the Congress and the Telugu Desam in May 2009 polls.

Are Madigas Behind Chiranjeevi?

Are madigas behind Chiranjeevi? This impression is rising as Manda Krishna Madiga's cutout was placed along with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in Machilipatnam region. How Krishna Madiga is connected with Chiranjeevi and the film? There is nothing, but the impressions are making rounds that the community is behind Chiranjeevi. Mega Star Chiranjeevi turns 52

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, fondly called Chiru, turns 52 on Wednesday.

Chiranjeevi, who reigns over the Telugu film industry, holds the record for some of the biggest box office collections ever. Infact way back in 1992, his film Gharana Mogudu raked in over a crore at the box office, something unheard of then.

But there’s more to the superstar. He is one of the highest paid actors in India and has been felicitated with the Padmabhushan amongst other awards.

Fans of the versatile actor have given him the demi-God status.

“I like his acting and dance,” says one of his fans.

Another fan adds, “He is a megastar. I like his acting and his dance.”

Chiranjeevi also moved beyond the realm of the silver screen and set up blood and eye donation banks which helped him build a mass appeal, so much so, that the latest demand is not just about delivering a new super hit, but to contest the 2009 Assembly elections.

Though the mega star has taken a non-committal stand on the political front, if the grapevine is to be believed, he might just follow actor-turned-politician NTR's footsteps.

Chiranjeevi’s fans don't need a special reason to celebrate. And an occasion like his birthday can't be passed without pomp and fare. So as the megastar turns 52, his fans have planned a huge ceremony at the Gachi Bowli stadium. And the fact that Chiranjeevi is on a vacation to the United States and won't be present for the festivities isn't a dampener.

Will Chiranjeevi Enter Communist Party

The banner of Eenadu today published a gossiping style of News (!) stating that Chiranjeevi sat with Communist party leaders at his home. It also mentioned that he invited them to his home and talked on various terms relating to politics. The item said that the communist leaders recalled the association of Allu Ramalingaih with Praja Natya Mandali, a close ally of Communists. That is the funniest part in the item.

There are many in Paraja Natya Mandali who are not communists at heart. Paraja Natya Mandali is only a cultural organization set up with a good motive of educating people and sensitizing them on various issues. But now there are many hardcore business men with caste feelings in Praja Natya Mandali. There are millionaires in that association. But they all play dramas and sensitize people to fight against irresponsible government. How far those rich people in Praja Natya Mandali are responsible for society? Allu Ramalingiah was also very rich. It doest mean that he was irresponsible to society. He had set up a Homeo Hosipital and before that he was a Freedom Fighter. His history is spotless.

But giving a call to Chiranjeevi saying about his father in law is a fun. Chiranjeevi's ideologies are never in tune with communism. He started charitable society and only God knows how far it is useful for poor and needy. There are many procedures to procure blood from CCT. They don't give blood just like that for any one when they come and cry for that. The long procedures may kill the patients as well. Such news hardly comes out. They don't show the interest in giving blood for patients than showing interest to squeeze blood from donors. Coming to taking the blood from donors, CCT team comes out only when there are some 200 donors at single place. Otherwise it says, 'It won't work out for us'. What is this word 'work out' means? It's a business term but not charity oriented. Apart from this, the CCT asks the donors in-charge to hire beds and equipment from a place in Jubilee Hills.
