Akkineni Nageshwara Rao's 84th birthday celebrations were carried on by Rasamai cultural organization today. The ANR life time achievement award was bestowed to Jayasudha, P Susheela, Avadhani Medasani Mohan and Producer Dorai Swamy Raju (Seeta Ramayya Gari Manavaralu and Annamayya fame).
The event went on very well and there is a grand response from audiences of all age groups. Standing ovation and honors were paid to him by the audience in Ravindra Bharathi.
T Subba Rami Reddy, Rosayya, Padmabhushan Vara Parasada Reddy, MS Reddy and Sarepalli Konadala Rao have made their presence on dais as guests.
