Reel Talk: EVV With Ravi Teja and Sunil!

Unofficial sources said that EVV is now planning films with Ravi Teja, the shooting of which may tentatively start in January 2008. Then a film with Sunil is also planned, the story of which is written By Prithvi Teja.

Apart from this, EVV is in dire need to push the career of his eldest son Rajesh. He has been listening to many stories and planning to project him in right way. That way three films are in line from EVV's camp.

Right now EVV is busy on the film 'Pellaindi Kaani'. As soon as the completion of the film he will be busy with Ravi Teja's film.

Well, Thailand is going to be the shooting hub for Ravi Teja' film.

GITA joins with ATHIDHI and THULASI in Chat busters!

An interesting aspect to know is that a small film audio took position in 'top-10' in the chart busters list of this week. The film is 'Gita'. Rishi and Hamsa Nandini are in lead roles in it. Coming to the audio, the Times of India, Planet M, Music World, Radio Mirchi and Radio City have listed it as one of the top-10 albums in the chartbusters of this week. Athidhi and Tulasi are ruling the film music now. When big budget high voltage films are ruling the roost, this small film shows its identity by joining along with them. When inquired, it's said that the music is excellent. It is very interesting to know that the music director is SUNIL KASHYAP, finalist in AR Rehman's latest OO LA LA LA …contest. Looks like AR Rehman got impressed with Sunil Kashyap's music and singing skills and gave an opportunity to sing in his next movie JODHA AKBAR staring Hritik Roshan. Madhura Entertainmentt, the music company which released the music of this small movie GITA should be appreciated for promoting young talent like Sunil Kashyap.

'Viyyaalavaari Kayyaalu' Haunting and Not Leaving

The songs from the film 'Viyyalavari Kayyalu' are appealing for listeners as they are regularly played in FM radio channels. Ramana Gogula scored music for it and the songs have been ringing in the ears of people from quite long time. Many say that the song 'Suryude Sare Annade…' resembles 'Annayyaa Annavantey…' from 'Annavaram'.

The song 'Neela Neekallu' is standing as instant winner. We can listen to RP Patnaik's voice for the song 'Malle Chendaa' written by Veturi.

The rating for this album is very good and is permanently sitting in Top-10 list of chartbusters since its release.

Some listeners are saying that the songs in the album are haunting and not leaving without ringing in ears.

All the songs have got melodious appeal to sustain in the cognitions of people for longer time. A couple of numbers are haunting for a while after listening. It appears to be a good sign especially for Uday Kiran.

Uday Kiran and Neha Jhulka have paired up for the film where Sri Hari played a vital role in it. Inside sources say that the film is going to be a very big hit and brings break for Uday Kiran.

Buzz: Anti-liquor Roja caught boozing!

Film heroine-turned-Telugu Mahila president Roja, who has launched a war against belt shops (unauthorized liquor shops) in the State, was understood to have caught consuming liquor at her guest house.

According to grapevine, Roja, who has been extensively touring the Telangana districts as part of Palle Palleku programme and campaigning against belt shops, had a night halt at a guest house in Karimnagar. Knowing that she is a regular boozer, party people arranged her bottle of liquor from a nearby belt shop. She was enjoying the drink, when some local women entered the guest house to discuss about her action plan against the belt shops. And they were astonished to find her in an inebriated condition. So, they had to make a silent retreat.

These women activists later condemned Roja's double standards and wondered how this woman can run a movement against liquor.

House Wives Dancing For 'Vamp Songs'

A TV channel is organizing a show called 'Paripoorna Mahila'. The idea is to pick up the Mrs Andhra among the contestants. The contest will have many tests those assess the mental ability, emotional quotient, beauty consciousness, personality and bearing of the candidates. All the candidates are married and are in later 20s or 30s. There is a test in the contest where the contestants have to dance for two songs. The test has no sense and it is testing the patience and receptive sense of TV Viewers, as many say.

"How the married ladies dance for item numbers like '36 24 36..avi kolathalu kaavu orabbee naa phone numberu..'? It's nasty watching the family ladies jumping for the numbers. Should we make out paripoorna mahila out of those bitchy dances?" questioned Radha Kumari, a lecturer.

"They are in saris. And they are dancing for songs like 'Ippatikinka naa vayasu…' with nasty and vulgar movements. TV shows are degrading the married Andhra women", said Sreedevi, a housewife.

The show is passing on negative impressions among the viewers.

Lagadapati Sreedhar's 'Warm Blessings' For Ileana

Lanco Hills is the affluent venture that was started in Hyderabad where the bookings were over within few days of its launch. Many celebrities also couldn't find any discount in bookings including the early birds. Such was the demand for the flats in that affluent venture.

But it is revealed that Ileana also booked a flat in that and got a discount of 20%. How could she bag that discount? The Film Nagar circles are biting ears that Lagadapati Sreedhar's 'warm blessings' for Ileana resulted in getting 20% discount.

Rajnikant watches Chirutha

Tamil superstar Rajnikanth watched a special preview show of Chirutha film and congratulated Chiranjeevi about the performance of Ram Charan Teja. He described Ram Charan Teja as ‘Pedda Puli’ instead of Chirutha. He also said that Ram Chran Teja acted liked a veteran of 70 films and there are no traces of imitating Chiranjeevi by Charan. He said that Telugu film industry got a talented actor in the form of Ram Charan Teja.

Athidi confirmed on 18 October

Mahesh Babu’s Athidi is confirmed on 18 of October. This film sports Amrita Rao as heroine. Malaika Arora does an item song. Music of the film scored by Mani Sharma was recently released. Muhurat - Srikanth Nidhi Prasad film

Nidhi Prasad who directed minimum guarantee comedy films like Andaru Dongale Dorikithe and Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw is directing another film now with Srikanth, Prabhudeva and Charmme in the main leads.

Dasari sounded the clapboard, Tammareddy Bharadwaja switched on the camera and Puri Jagan directed the first shot.

Hero Srikanth said that this is his second film with director Nidhi Prasad and the first film with this banner. He said that this film is going to be an entertainer.

Director Nidhi Prasad said, “This film is a romantic entertainer. The shooting starts in the first week of October. Shooting will be completed in November and December. Talkie part of the film will be shot in Goa, Vizag and Hyderabad. Chakri composes music.”

Raju, Praveen, Mannem Venkata Ramana and Yarlagadda Venkat Rao are producing this film jointly on Silver Screen banner. Ramesh - Gopi pens dialogues.

Chief Minister Surprised To See This Actor

Producer Oscar Ravichandran has finally released the first official pictures from the forthcoming "Dasavatharam" to the media. There has been a lot of curiosity about the film ever since its launch almost a year ago, and the Internet was full of 'unofficial' pictures of Kamal Hasan whose get-up is varied in the film. The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. Karunanidhi who was shown a photo album is said to have been awestruck by the actor's looks. Kamal is doing 10 different roles in the film, but the pictures released to the media have no surprises. The producer's press note says shooting is over and the audio release will be held this month. It states: " 'Dasavatharam' can stand up to international scrutiny in terms of technical perfection and Kamal's acting can match up to that of any international actor."

Comedian Ali is very religious. Although he appears jovial and cracks jokes in public taking the life easier, when it comes to religion he will follow it with high devotion.

Nostalgia: S Vara Lakshmi's Love For ANR

S Vara Lashmi is the yester years' actress who was known for her singing talent as well. She acted in many films with NTR but has got fascination on ANR as said by him. In an interview given to a channel, he said, "S Vara Lakshmi asked me if I marry".

He added, "Those were the days when we were shooting for the film Maya Lokam. I don't say that is wrong and that was only the heat of age. I didn't take that bad as she asked only for marriage but not anything else. I said to her that I have no such feelings on her".

ANR also said that the producer of the film asked him and he admitted that he has no feelings of that sort on her. It seems that elders also asked her to keep away from him.

Opinion: Open Letter To Puri Jagannath

Mr Puri Jagannath, I understand that you are very practical in your approach but you need to watch your words when you say something. A star director like you should not be saying all this. As per you, imported heroin's are very talented. My simple question is, what talent did Hansika exhibit in Desamuduru? What talent did Ileana exhibit in Pokiri and what talent did Neha Sharma exhibit in Chirutha? Didn't you use them only for songs n glamor? Did you give them any performance based role? Or, are they really capable to act before the lens? A simple fact with one of your heroin's, Hansika, is that she was kicked off from Bollywood after one film (Aap ka Suroor) because of her terrible acting and now she is back in Tollywood. It's proved many times that your so called imported actresses use Tollywood as a perfect launchpad to get into Bollywood. And, please don't compare heroin's with camera's. It doesn't make much sense.

Coming to the issue of Prakash Raj and Ashish Vidhyarthi, it's understandable why one casts them in their films, lack of villain's in Tollywood. There's no doubt that they are tremendously talented. I agree with you on those.

Coming to filming locations, going abroad, it's your / hero's obsession. Isn't it funny/foolish to see our hero's and heroin's dancing on roads in foreign lands and people look at them as if there is something wrong. Is that necessary? How can a director like Shekar Kammula show the grandeur of Andhra on Celluloid? How can it be possible for him and how come people like you go to foreign shores for shooting? If your hero insists and your producer is ready to burn his money then it's okay but going abroad for every movie you make raises doubts about you and your crew's hidden obsession's (like, erotic massage in Thailand, etc).

To conclude, it's not that Telugu girls are not available for us but it's people like you who are not interested in them and interested in other state (North) girls. You directly prove that famous proverb in Telugu, What we have in our house doesn't look good, but what we see in other's house appeals a lot to us.

Gandhiji Worked In Favor Of Happy Days

It appears that Gandhiji worked for the success of 'Happy Days'. Indeed, 'Gandhi Jayanthi' holiday worked in favor of the film that released o same day in AP. The talk has come very well in Hyderabad and Vizag. The college students have patronized the film a lot and some family audiences have also made their way to theaters as it was a holiday. Sekhar Kammula is happy for this.

He shared his happiness saying, "The talk has come good everywhere. It's not only in Vizag and Hyderabad but also in the places like Guntur, Nellore , Vijayawada and Tirupathy. There is 100 days talk everywhere. The condition is Hyderabad is very positive that the student community I patronizing a lot. It's becoming hard to get tickets as well".

So it is confirmed that Sekhar Kammula did a hat-trick. While Anand was a success in both US and AP, Godavari did well only in US. Now 'Happy Days' made it big at both the places.
